All photographers have a image or two that is special to them, this is one of mine. It took 3 years to produce and is my second attempt at what you see here. I wanted a panorama of the Peoria skyline at night without the tall wall you see when the river is at normal levels. With the higher water levels, near or past beginning flood stage the wall goes away and the reflections of all the city light come out on the river. This image was taken when the river was with in 2 inches of record flood stage, hopefully it never gets this high again. What it did though is give me some wonderful reflections. I was blessed with a nice sky as well. The image is special in that it is a combined 30 frames. it will print anywhere form 7" x 40" to 2 feet tall x 16 feet wide in stunning detail. Because of this if you are interested in purchasing a print you will have to contact me to discuss details, sizes and related costs. We can even crop out cretin portions of the image which I have done already for clients. If you would like to see this in person there is a 15" x 120" version printed on canvas hanging in the Peoria chamber of commerce board room at the Heartland Partnership building down on the Peoria River front. You could probably go in to get a peek or I would be more then happy to meet you there for a viewing. A larger sample may be found here.
